33cl bottle from Vínbúðin somewhere on Iceland. Pours clear caramel coloured to amber with a rather small, off-white head. Fairly malty with notes of caramel, lightly spicy with some fruity notes and hints of dried fruits. Sweet and malty with a noticable bitterness. 33cl bottle from Vinbu?in, Borganes. Pours dark caramel coloured with an off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, notes of bread and just a hint of herbs. Blond color, small head. Decent aroma of malt and cereals. Dry; the flavor has some malt, and correct bitterness; the final is short.

Amber color with small head. Light malt aroma. Dry mouthfeel; very light malt flavor, not really herbal; ordinary bitterness.

Dark amber color, clear; small head. The malt in the aroma is infinitesimal; wood. The mouthfeel is dry but smooth; some caramel flavor, but vulgar, uninteresting; regular bitterness but that leads to a metallic final; there are also traces of vegetables.
A boring Amber Ale.

[5/4/14] Bottle at our airbnb apartment in Copenhagen. Clear deep amber. Aroma of malt, caramel and dark bread. Very sweet flavor, caramelly, with some dark bread. Light-bodied.

330ml Bottle - Dark amber/copper with a foamy head. Caramel, dried fruit and some metallic notes in the aroma. Malt, toffee and sultanas in the taste. Not too bad, but nothing I am in a hurry to buy again.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Caramel and angelica in the aroma. Sultanas, angelica and toffee feature in the moderately sweet taste.

Draught (Micro Bar, Reykjavik) - Amber in colour. Malty aroma with notes of dried fruit and caramel. Malty and slightly sweet taste with caramel, sultanas and grainy malt detected.
