Description
Our name connects back to a time when Cocoon’s founders Matt and Mike were young kids fascinated by an ever-expanding world, and as part of that exploration began collecting butterflies.
These formative moments have had a lasting impact on our perspectives of the world and provide a rich set of memories for us as individuals. We now gravitate to activities, places, businesses, and people that provide such direct, authentic, and visceral emotions.
Cocoon Brewing aims to celebrate the vibrancy of life felt, experienced and shared, not simply observed.

16oz can. Thick, yeasty, true hazy look. Steady off-white head too. Big Rakau, but muted and blanded out by the overplayed Citra and El Dorado. Probably the best Triple IPA I've had, but the style frustrates me as I've had Doubles IPAs that were stronger than this. EIther way, quite solid for the style.

16oz can. Chocolate bar in a glass. More chocolate than marshmallow or graham cracker, which works out OK.

16oz can. Sort of a hoppy Amber, but some decent malt depth as well. Hints at Irish Red, but more of an American hop tone. OK

16oz can. Strata and Galaxy is a great combination, Citra works in there as well. Full bodied but very drinkable. Some orange juice notes. Good.

16oz can. Fresh pleasant tropical hop tone, pungent and nice. Body is a little less smooth, silky than most...but that is OK. Overall pretty enjoyable.

16oz can. 5.5%ABV. Pale tan-yellow body. Some off aroma notes. Hints of corn, grain. Comes off inexpert, perhaps closer to a real Mexican lager. Drinkable but unimpressive.

16oz can. An OK enough example of the style, perhaps a little off tone underneath in the aroma. Rich banana tone, mild clove. A pinch heavier than typical. OK.

16oz can. Pretty nice hazy. True look, flavor, aroma. Pleasant hop combo, thankfully devoid of Citra. El Dorado provides a much more pleasant back drop to complement the Nelson and Galaxy. Pretty solid stuff.
