Description
Since 2010, our Sedan brewery has been located at 22 rue Berthelot in a magnificent building in the 19th arrondissement of Sedan with a brewery classified as an Industrial Heritage which, when it was created in 1896, was intended for the textile industry.

The Sedan Brewery was also installed in 2012 for a few months within the walls of the former Docquin Brewery founded in 1706. It is one of the oldest urban cascade breweries in Europe. We celebrated his resurrection with in particular, many tastings.

The activity of our brewery school in Sedan, which also revives tradition since the first French brewery school was created in the Sedan region in 1868, is currently located in the Ardennes at Haybes. But because of our mobile installation, certain sessions will also be held in Sedan, a high place steeped in French brewing history!

In 2021 production was transferred to Brasserie Le Clos Belle Rose in Haybes.

Hazy gold beer, white head. Aroma of candy, fruit, light malts, light herbal. Sweetish taste, candy, light sour citrus touch with some other sour notes. Finish candy, yeast, light spicy.
Nice take on beer. If I was more into energy drinks, I think I’d have enjoyed this beer more, but still chapeau to the brewer for the experiment.

75cl bottle courtesy of Jean-Thierry, brewer at Sedania shared at RBBSG 2012.

Sampled at RBBSG. Hazy lightly pale yellow color, small white head. Smells like diwh washer soap and slightly sour. Taste malts, some sourness, some yeast and some alcohol. Medium to high carbo, medium body.

11/VIII/2012 75cl bottle @ RBBSG - (2012-900) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Bit cloudy light orange beer, big aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: quite herbal, some hay, malty, little sweet. MF: good carbon, light to medium body. Taste: somewhat fruity, citrus, pretty weird sour touch, sour apples. Aftertaste: pretty herbal, somewhat grassy, citrus, overripe fruits. Meh.
