Tap at Captain Cooks, Östersund. This was a really solid NEIPA from Jämtlands - good bitterness, sweetness and hoppiness. Really easy drinking and hopefully will stay on tap for some time. (Summer 22) ---- Tap at Captain Cooks. 3.9 to 4. What stuck me most this time was the look. So spot on. After a pint and a bit, it started to feel a bit much.

(Bottle, 24 March 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, apricots, honey, citrus, grapefruit and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, apricots, honey, citrus, grapefruit and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Solid and well made English strong pale ale. Very nice.

Flaska från SB. Mörk kastanjebrun med fluffig smutsvit krona. Inledningsvis en lite stökig doft av chark och luft-torkad skinka. Kommer man förbi är det rejält med kandisocker, torkad frukt, banankaka, lakritsrot, bränt socker och en lätt kaffeton. Känns kanske lite stökig.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Biscuity malt, berries and some slightly toasted and soapy notes in the aroma. Blackcurrant, biscuity malt, soap and hints of nuts in the taste. Pretty tasty, balanced and easy to drink.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy yeasty, sweet yeast, candy yeast, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity malt, sweet yeast, candy, belgian yeast, fruity yeast, light caramel, light anis seed, light ruff. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220415]
