ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy yeasty, sweet yeast, candy yeast, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity malt, sweet yeast, candy, belgian yeast, fruity yeast, light caramel, light anis seed, light ruff. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220415]

--Keg at Captain Cook's, Östersund. -- Almost clear amber, small head. Caramelly, spicy nose with leafs and sulphur. Dryish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread and sulphur, spicy hay and leafs notes of butter. Mid bitter finish. Pleasant!

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Generous aroma of aniseed, marzipan and caramel. Dryish with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Saké like dry grainy toasty malt, aniseed and marzipan, notes of tobacco. Peppery mid bitter finish. An excellent, dry, genuinely Belgian style dubbel. Complex and drinkable.

Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Nice to finally see a bitter on tap here! Low abv makes me very happy too. And credit to Jämtlandsz this is a pretty decent English bitter. Yes the Jämtland yeast comes across a bit too heavily but otherwise they are getting the bitter crunchy bitterness that is nice and moorish. Looking forward to having more next week. (17/2/22) --- Keg again at Captain Cooks. Felt odd to have a keg bitter after a cask one. Cold. But tasty and easy going. Some classic jamtland yeast in there too. 3.5 to 3.3.

Olmost black with a light brown head - Roated malt and coffee aroma - Roated malt body with coffee flavours and some nice bitterness - The roasted flavours goes into the finish that ends dry - This was good
