Bottle from Patrick at Cooks as a random gift. Incredibly sophisticated use of the barrel ageing outside and in the bottle. This beer was probably made about. Years ago and we drank it almost 3 years out of date. The aroma was literally like smelling a whisky, if it was a blind tasting I would have said whisky. Nice colour. Smooth to drink with of course strong whisky but also some gentle liquorice. A superb beer.

Flaska från SB. Opak, närmast svart vätska med medelhögt beige skum. Stor arom med mycket kaffe, choklad och rostad malt. Mjuk och rund, rejäl kropp, ändå ganska torr. Djupa smaker och fin smakbild. Harmonisk och lättdrucken. Mycket trevlig.
