(Bottle) Dark amber colour with big, frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, dried fruit, orange peel and toffee. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, dried fruit, orange peel and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Not overly complex, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Keg at Captain Cook, Östersund. A surprisingly awesome stout from Jämtlands here. Lovely subtle aromas including coffee. Extremely drinkable for the percentage, I didn't even notice until after 2 pints in. Nice deep guinesss like colour. An unfussy stout. (2/4/20) ------ Keg at Captain Cook again. Honestly this stout is up there with some of the best I know. Good quality coffee makes a difference too. Felt thicker and bolder this time. (25/4/20) ---- Bottle from Systembolaget. 4.3 to 3.8. Was dissapointed that the beer didn't come out as good in bottle as it did in keg. Still a nice stout ändå. (24/10/20) ----- Keg at Captain Cooks Östersund. The ending taste was a lot more like their baltic stout this time which was a little dissapointing. As if the coffee content has been cut back. but within a pint it was back to the lovely coffeness mostly. Kept 3.8 (20/1/21) ---- Bottle at Frösö Park. A brilliant Stout. Sure the coffee isn't as pronounced as before but it is still smooth af and easy going for bottle after bottle. 3.8 to 4. (27/8/21). ---- Keg at Captain Cook Östersund. Quite sad that it was just like the baltic stout. Almost no coffee this time. 4 to 3.7. (10/11/21). --- Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. 3.7 to 3.9. Freshly roasted coffee aroma.

Ok+
