On tap at Cafe Conrad. Dim orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity and bitter. Refreshing, fruity bitter, some orange peel and grapefruit. Quite nice session beer.

(Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy dark brown with a rough beige head. Distinct aroma of roasted coffee. Quite a full body with plenty of hard roasted even burned malt. Again lots of coffee, a little medicinal, spicy with licorice notes. The finish is very bitter from both malts and hops. 120708

Handbottled. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of roasted malt, and so is the flavor, though added notes of licorice, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks a lot yespr for bringing this to Copenhagen and sharing.

From tap at Conrad. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and annis seed in a dense dark aroma. Flavour is quite liqourice spiced from annis seed and with all the flavours present also in the aroma. Mild sweetness showing throught the solid roasted malt flavours. Ends bitter and roasted acidic. Nice, smooth and flavourfull. Nice stout. Holds nice fruity hops flavour into the very far finish.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with flowery hoppy notes combined with light notes of hay. The flavor is slightly acidic - is that intentional? - I think it is a mistake. It has some notes of grapefruit and a light touch of malt. Served very cold. I don’t fancy it.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white head - definately not a pilsener, more like a Kellerbier. The aroma is sweet with notes of brewmash and hops - Saaz, leaving a slight note of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grass, hops, and hay as well as light notes of grapefruit, leading to a very bitter and sligtly piercing finish. I’m not that fond of the hop profile.

RB DK #1300: From tap at the brewpub, thanks to the owner who put the keg back on a gave me a glass despite the place being closed to a major cleaning! Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Light malty and mild hoppy aroma. Flavour is medium sweet with a light malt note and some interesting bite before and into the finish. Not really sure what it is. Nice though. I dont sense honey as such but mouthfeel certainly tells that something else is going on. Far finish holds the hops (cascade) as given from the description. Some minor minor honey like notes in the far finish, but really could be something else. Shows a mild fruity hops touch in the very far finish too.
