(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Mildly sweet pale malty and slightly strawy aroma with citrus-fruity and slightly herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Soft malty taste with grainy spots and present herbal and slightly fruity hops; moderately dry and bitter-sweet finish with rounded grainy and herbal accents. Rather a Helles than an Export, but a nice one. 09.XII.10

(bottle) Clear, amber-golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Sweet and subtle grainy (cara-)malty aroma with citric and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Pleasant malt-character with present notes of slightly fruity and herbal noble hops; sweet-bitter malty and slightly fruity hoppy finish. Pleasant and rounded brew. 09.XII.10

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and large foamy head. Slightly sweet and yeasty malty aroma, slightly strawy with citric and herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly yeasty and strawy malty taste with herbal hoppy spice; bitter-sweet herbal hoppy and mildly grainy finish. A tad sweeter and younger than the Export; also likeable. 09.XII.10

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large white head. Hoppy nose. Solid malty base with good aromatic hops throughout. A very nice beer, like it!

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy pale golden yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose with a touch of yeast. Malty base, shy hints of caramel, slightly yeasty, lovely hops throughout.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale yellow colour, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose, very aromatic. Light malty base, lots of aromatic hops. Not bitter, but with a superb hop profile. You can literally taste the tradition of a South German family brewery... Brilliant Pils
