(bottle) Clear, amber to chestnut colour with a slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly nutty and cara-malty aroma with bready notes and present herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Caramel-malty and (wal-)nutty and slightly crusty taste with herbal accents; mildly sweet and hop bitter finish with a good length. 18.XI.11

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, clear, nearly medium sized white foamy layer with a little lace; walnuts, toaste malt and caramel in the nose, some hops included; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, unfortunately very light bodied; lingering dryish malt-bitterness in the nutty finish. A fine brew.....

Muffig hopfiger Antrunk. Die Hopfigkeit wird dann sowohl frischer als auch vielschichtiger, grasige Noten, harzig, etwas karamellig, das Ganze mit Malzunterstützung. Weich, der starke Hopfen geht lange Zeit ohne Bitterkeit einher. Erst im Abgang wird die Süße durch eine knackig werdend Bitterkeit abgelöst, die z.T. Nicht ganz zu den Hopfenaromen passt. Ein ausgewogenes, für Deutschland untypisches Bier. Ein wenig Feinschliff noch, dann haben wir ein Topprodukt! /11/12/11/12/11

bottle from biershop-braugasthoefe.de. Bottle #20/40. Deepr amber brown colour, hazy to cloudy, mid-sized, creamy beige head. Fruity-hoppy aroma. Full-bodied, intensive malt flavours with a touch of caramel. Hints of tropical fruit (mango, papaya), citrus fruit and lots of aromatic hops with a very resiny and citrusy character. Smooth carbonation and palate. Lingering hoppy-fruity finish. Well balanced, delicious and very moreish beer!

Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, yeast, malt, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle @ Early Winter Tasting, Odense, 2011. Pours cloudy golden with a bubbly white head. Nice and fruity citra hop aroma. Grapefruit. Fresh! Dry and hoppy. Really fresh and really nice.

Herb-hopfiger Antrunk, frisch. Die Herbe steigt, leichte Getreidenoten sind vorhanden und steigern sich ebenfalls. Würzig, herb, süffig. Leicht grasig, zum Ende bitter werdend wobei der Hopfen im Vordergrund steht. Gut! 9/11/12/12/11/12

Bottle. Deep orange with a frothy head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour starts citrus with a light bitter hop feel. Some earthy notes and the texture is wheat. Palate is dry.

Bottle bought at Bierland in Hamburg. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Fresh fruity aroma with peach and citrus. The taste was refreshing, not that bitter. The finish was dry. A descent one.
