Bottle 750ml.Hazy medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spicy, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, frozen fruit, light grapefruit. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Good balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120128]

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours dark ruby amber with bubbles on top. Nose is vague yeast and US hops. Flavor is bitter hops and caramel. Marmelade , caramel and grapefruit. Sticky and oily.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are nice hops, caramel, flowers,peach, citrus and malt.

Bottle at Home. Another great example of a german brewer that experiments a lot. Hazy golden orange with a nice dense white head. Lemon and grass aromas with a hint of tropical fruit. Teh citra hops flavour is very distinct, along with grass and straw, dry and bitter finish. Highly enjoyable and great session beer.

Gering herber Antrunk mit dunklen Malznoten. Diese werden im Mittelteiletwas schokoladig , das Bier weist nun eine stimmige Getreidenote auf. Der aufkommende Hopfen liefert eine noch stärkere Bitterkeit, das Bier ist vollmundig. Besonders das Malz gefällt durch seine Runde Art mit karamelligen Beinoten. bottle from the brewery. Deep black colour, large head. Hoppy aroma, slightly citrusy and resiny. Full-bodied, smooth palate. Intensively malty flavours with hints of coffee and bitter chocolate, plus lots of very aromatic hops. Bitter-sweet, an interesting combination of flavours.
