Lovely beer, well balanced, notes of lemon, grapefruit, peach, salt, low funk, modest minerality. Great balance. Sound.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to Mark the Beardy Avenger. Just a very light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. A light tartness and a pronounced savoury edge to the modest hop skunk. Bright citrus hops and a little candy fruits, about what you would expect from Citra and modern Mosaic but, they sit in a tart back drop. Light and semi dry finish. Nice but, think the tartness would wear me down over the course of a 750.

Panda at home, thanks to Mark the Bearded Avenger, 25/01/2026.
Almost clear golden with little in the way of a head.
Nose is funk, pissy fruit shreds, vinous, barrel tones, herb.
Taste comprises stewed fruits, bretty pangs, funk, barnyard bite, straw, dusty hops.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close with a balanced puckering spike.
Solid kit.

Bottle via the online shop. Shared round Dan and Megan’s. Light gusher. Sits black. Inevitably there’s a big old swede first off until it calms. Lots of earthy slightly woody medium roast coffee. Bitter chocolate. Lightly vinous. Semi dry and moderately bitter. As per most TT big hitters it doesn’t feel anything like a big hitter. Generally nobody had a clue it was close to 15%. Rich bitter finish with a soft twang to close. Good gear.

Battered can that might have bust a seal, via the online shop. Pitch black. Oily pour. Slim ring of tan. Nose has earthy woody soft roasted coffee bean. Good hit of almond. Comes over toasted. Some bitter chocolate. Taste is a little sweet with an earthy dry coffee bean bitterness. Frankly preposterous that this is 14 odd % because it drinks like milkshake. Lingering moderate bitterness to finish. Impressive.

Tap. Old Shoe Beer Festival ages ago. Looks like juice. Lots of mango. Lots of mad fruity notes obviously from the gummi bears. Taste is surprisingly unsweet, with fruity juicy gentle tartness. Solid.
