Can from Centra, Mohill [240514] (Bulmers Pear Cider)
Extremely light lime green water, no head
Aroma - Soft sweet pear fruit
Taste - Soft sweet pear, soft sugar syrup, light flavour, very simple, not as artificial as expected, alcopop
Palate - Medium carb, light body, very sweet. Finish as main flavour, sweet.
Overall - Much better than those horrible pear drop Kopperberg ciders. Is too sweet through. Expected this to be terrible but wasn’t too bad actually, although I wouldn’t get it again

Tap at the Dubliner, Bangkok. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light apple! The flavour is medium sweet with a sweet apple palate and a short apple finish. Medium apple with soft apple carbonation. God I hate apples!

Bottle. A clear, lighlty yellowish cider with a small, white head. Ginger, pear notes and some honey in the aroma. Ginger, pears and honey in the flavor too, with a pleasant carbonation level. Pleasant ginger-touch in the finish. Much better than expected this one, but I still prefer a regular, real perry. 140426
