Ovata is the story of two passionate friends who decided to create their microbrewery. In 2022 The project was born with the desire to share quality beers that resemble us.

Our name comes from the Latin name for the jade tree: Crassula Ovata. This small succulent plant familiar from indoor gardens represents prosperity, especially in friendship. This name reflects our project well: Two friends who offer beers to share between friends.

Ovata is a contemporary and independent craft brewery. We want to explore the full creative potential of the brewing world. Traditional beers brought up to date and bold experiments, offered in our permanent or ephemeral collection.

The Ovata brewery is located in Bouzonville in the heart of the Moselle countryside. We designed our project to anchor it in the territory, favoring local and organic ingredients.
