21st March 2026: 75cl bottle shared with Eric in Eecke. Pleasant citrus, medium bodied, quite balanced and easy-going with just enough juicy citrus hop coming through.
3rd August 2025: Draught @ Westhoek, Bergues. Pours a hazed blonde, pure white head. Gentle and light, super soft palate, medium to light bodied, with lilt-like exotic fruit notes.

Draught @ Westhoek Brewery. Pours a generally clear yellow with a fine mist, white head. Gently hoppy citrus nose. Flavour profile continues along this path, crisp, gently hoppy, some grapefruit, citrus but overall rather unfussy and straightforward, finishing light and dry. Ok.

Draught @ Westhoek Brewery. Pours a misty gold, white head. Aroma has a light hoppiness, some pale malt. Flavour profile presents nicely hoppy citrus, biscuity malt, gently honied sweetness, a hint of grapefruit perhaps, but overall quite mild and balanced. Seshy tone. Fine.

Draught @ Westhoek Brewery. Pours a glowing caramel amber, patchy white head. Harsh alcohol nose. Flavour profile is also a bit harsh, boozy, mild furniture polish notes.. lacks the strong malty sweet warmth and I like from a strong ale, something clearly gone awry here.

Mild taste medium sweet and light bitter, cherries, light wood, herbal and earthy notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity, strong and lingering herbal and earthy impression, okay.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy deep amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing, some lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, sweet syrup, some cocoa powder and coffee. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar, sweet syrup, some chocolate and coffee. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth malty sweetbitter aftertaste, roasty notes, nice.

Mild taste, light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, lemon, grapefruit. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, more bitterness in the finish, refreshing, well-balanced, very nice.
