Description

We brew beers since 2016, making the first local micro brewery in Gracanica, Kosovo, with dozen of original craft beer styles. Bottled or draft, Pivdzan is available in local pubs, restaurants and stores that cherish quality domestic products.

Our "India Pale Ale" got Bronze Brewer's Seal Award at the international selection of the Beer Festival 2023 in Litomerice, Czechia.

Pivdzan is the embodiment of pure enjoyment of the full taste of beer. We make beer without compromise, in a way that guarantees that this homemade beverage will give you all that its original ingredients have: a wide range of barley malt flavors, as well as the bitterness and fruity freshness of green hop cones.

Pivdzan is a beer with soul and purpose.

Hazy amber colour and off-white head. Aroma has caramalt, toffee and some tartness. Light-bodied. Caramalt, toffee notes, low bitterness and evident tartness. Beer Garden, Prishtina.

Deep golden colour and small steady white head. Heavy on diacetyl in the aroma. Light-bodied. Flavour is malty with citrusy hops and diacetyl. Well.. Beer Garden, Prishtina.

Draught @ Bar Aca, Prizren after cycling to Prizren from Shkoder, Albania. Pours unclear golden amber, good off-white head. Gentle caramelised malt, soft palate, not as sweet and rich as it's wee heavy counterparts, quite sessionable, dry finish. Not bad.

330ml bottle @ Bar Aca, Prizren. Pours a hazed gold, large white head. Nice enough, light orangey malt touch.. fairly pedestrian but still enjoying it.

330ml bottle @ Te Kinezi, Prizren. Pours a misty gold, small white head. Light floral aromatics. Tame wit profile but generally ok, no off notes.

330ml bottle @ Te Kinezi, Prizren. Pours slightly unclear gold, white head. Can't ever recall quince being added to a pilsner before. Works well I think, just enough of a fruity influence which brings a bit more colour to the beer, mild hoppy bitterness, not bad.
