330ml can. Poured a hazy medium to light amber with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light grainy, toffee caramel malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, caramel malt, light citrus hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Most of the flavour is coming from the malts. I dispute their statement that this beer is “well hopped”. Relative to what? Having said that, it’s drinkable, just a little bland.

Can. Nose is toast, malt coffee, lactose, caramel, vanilla. Taste is chocolate, bitter coffee, vanilla ice cream, lactose, hint of ash. Good, and far far better than you would expect from the price point.

Can from ASDA, Rochdale. Very dark brown with an off-white head. It’s milky and smooth with a lovely mouthfeel.

Nose is pine, honey, orange, slightly soapy, floral, lemon; appealing. The taste does not match the nose; light pine, hint of marmalade, slight mineral, very very watery. Mouthfeel is thin. It's really cheap, but it's also not very nice.

330ml can. Hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Plenty of tropical fruit in both the nose and the flavour, where it's found over a malty caramel base

330ml can at home on 22nd Jan 2019, poured into a 'Good People Brewing Company' 16oz straight glass. Clear, light golden body; white head. Hoppy front to the nose and taste, citrus/tropical fruit flavours from those hops. There is also a dank and piney hoppiness to the brew which balances out the citrus leanings in the mouth. Decent all round.

330ml can into an old 'Veltins' stemmed tulip glass at home on 11th Jan 2019. The third beer in a random tasting session with myself. Thought this was fine, good look, aroma and taste. Amber body, no haze in my glass, full white crown on top. Hop front to both the nose and flavour on a steady malt base. Piney, resin like hops, please to find no or very little citrus influence from whatever hops were used. Great value and a good beer all round.

11th Jan 2019. 330ml can into an old 'Veltins' stemmed tulip glass at home, the first beer in a mini tasting session with myself (just six random beers throughout the night). Slight haze to the golden body, snow white crown on top. Dry, bitter and with a citrus leaning in both the nose and flavour. Didn't really take to it at all.

Can from ASDA, Rochdale. Hazy deep amber with a thin head. Fuller-bodied, mildly fruity pale ale. Its strength gives it quite a dense taste.
