Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Medium amber colour. Light haze. Thin, messy, dense, lasting, lacing, white head. Handsome. Nose has pine cone. Walk in the woods earthy notes. Woody herb. Some soapy, floral notes. Lavender and the like. Spicy biscuit malts as a backdrop. Pretty unusual, altogether. Taste is sweet and lightly spicy, herby bitter. Medium body. Hop oil slick. Soft carbonation. Spicy bitterness to finish, with a soapy sweetness throughout. Pretty good, and a bit different to North Riding's US IPAs, but I don't think I could do multiples of it.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Orange gold. Soft haze. A few loose bubbles of white. Nose has pink grapefruit. Peach. Hint of kiwi fruit. Dry cracker malts. Some flinty, mineraly notes. Taste is light bitter, with more of the minerality. Dries out somewhat. Light body. Low carbonation. Light dryness on the finish, with a grapefruit like, bitter sharpness.

Cask @ Salopian. Pours pale gold, small white head. Pale malt in the aroma. Taste has a biscuity bitter malt character, not much in the way of fruit or sweet floral notes, rather drying and lacking in pronounced hop flavours. Passable.

Cask at Brigantes, York on 6th September 2017. Gold with whitish lacing foam. Citrus hoppy aroma with a hint of tropical fruits. Bitter hops in-mouth with contrasting peachy fruitiness. An intensely bitter finish then reverberates around the upper mouth. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body. Excellent!

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol August 2017. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Aroma of fudge, milk chocolate, leafy hops and almonds. Flavour was sweet, with plenty more chocolate character, some toastiness and a warming, sweet, finish. Very good.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A clear dark orange coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is sticky orange, mango, peach, sticky orange pollen floral notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caramel, pulped mango, peach melba. Tangerine. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, lowish carbonation. Ok.

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Chinook Orbit and Sticklebract hops in this? Pale gold. Just about clear. Frothy and sticky, bright white head. Nose has clean grain. Some summer berry fruits. Some peach and nectarine. Taste has some sweetness, but is mostly dry and light bitter. Light body. Light, slightly earthy bitter finish.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Darker-golden with a creamy head. Crisp, light and perhaps understated. Has some creamy fruits amongst its hoppy character.
