Bottle, courtesy of the brewer. Cheers! Clear, dark cola brown. Swirl of beige head. Nose has chocolate ice cream. Milk chocolate. Fruit and Nut chocolate. Quite chocolatey. Taste is sweet, with a touch of dried vine fruit, twangy bitterness. Soft and silky mouthfeel. Sweet and lightly tangy finish. Does what it sets out to do really well.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Slightly murky gold. Film of lacing, white head. Nose has soft, spicy pine notes. Some candied peel. Some dried pineapple. Taste is pretty punchy, resinous bitter with plenty of hop spice. Minimal sweetness. Fairly clean mouthfeel. Feels fuller than the ABV might suggest. More hop spice to finish. Good.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. As North Riding / Wilde Child IPA Mosaic Centennial Ekuanot. 5k rating. Hazy, pale amber. Thick, dense, lasting, just off white head. Slow moving, and a little leggy in the glass. Nose has ripe, dark berry fruits. Stewed citrus. Some pine needle. Background of bready, fruity malts. Taste is up front sweet, with baked citrus bitterness. Sits a bit rich and sticky on the palate. Long bitter finish gets resinous and a little stewed.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Black with a creamy-frothy off-white head. Crisp, but very tasteless ale, with some dark malt notes in its aftertaste. There’s a hint of roasted malt in its nose, but is somewhat thin.

Cask @ Whitelocks, Leeds. Black with a thick frothy head. Hoppy with a dark malt character and an easy-drinking texture.

Cask at Reading Beer Festival. Floral, then heavy, obvious dandelion & burdock, just like the fizzy drink. Liquorice grows as you drink more. Very sweet; the whole sweet d&b flavour gets a bit oppressive by the end.

Cask at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 13/04/17. Clear golden with a well appointed egg shell white head that retains very well - a stunning beer visually and full glass lacing ensues. Nose is rather thin, light citric peel, straw, melon, faint hops. Taste comprises pale malts, bread, lemon rind, grains, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Good looker, good condition, just nothing at the business end, barely musters reverse off the drive let alone getting out of first gear !!!

Bottle, courtesy of the brewer. Cheers! Hazy, dark gold. Film and a few bubbles of white head. Nose has hints of pineapple. Stone fruit. Some blackcurrant. Pretty understated, really. Taste has some stone fruit sweetness, turning a little fusty, dank bitter. Soft carbonation. A little slick. Bit of a resinous bitter finish. Decent, but not as vibrant as other North Riding APAs.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee and just a hint of orange. Taste - more toffee and orange. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. The finish could be fresher. Overall - for the style it needs to be more bitter.
