Cask at cloisters. Pours clear pale golden, nose is grapefruit, sweet toffee, taste is sweet, juicy citrus, dry finish.

Cask at the Craven Arms; clear amber pour with a creamy beige head, aroma has tangerine and mango, taste has pine, grapefruit, chewy fruits, light bitterness.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Gold, with a very light haze. Film of white. Nose has berry fruits. Soft, floral, herbal notes. Creamy malts. Doesn’t come over too Sorachi, really. Taste is pithy bitter, with an earthiness that seems out of place. Soft carbonation. Pithy, herbal bitter finish. Seems a bit tired and lacking the usual North Riding vibrancy.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. As Five Towns / North Riding Golden Years. Label states Citra and Mosaic hops. Oh, and it’s an IPA, not an ESB. Dark amber. Light haze. Thin, dense, bubbly, messy, off white head. Good looker. Beautiful, rich, peach and tinned strawberry hop. Backdrop of spicy, rye type malts. Smells great. Taste has sweet, malty depth. Soft, spicy bitterness. Smooth palate. Good depth. Finishes soft, lingering bitter. Really good.

Cask, third pint at Minerva. Lasting creamy, beige head. Clear amber-gold body. Restrained aroma of citrus peels. Mixed taste of fresh citrus and dried fruit. Drying ending with a mild bitter touch. rather thin on the swallow Satisfying (Hull 25.11.2015).

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Gold, with a light haze. Thin, white head. Typically robust, fresh, fruity hop. Some pineapple. Vanilla malts. Taste is rich, fruity bitter. Sweetness on the lips. Soft, airy, smooth mouthfeel. Zesty, fresh hop bitterness on the close.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. As Bravo Summit Mosaic. Gold, with a soft haze. Messy, clingy, white film of head. Nice, vanilla sweet, creamy malts. Pink grapefruit and pineapple. Orange zest and juice. Taste is zesty, zingy bitter. Gives a sweetness on the lips. Spritzy mouthfeel. Finishes clean bitter, with a light, dry close. Fresh and zesty. Lots of flavour for the ABV.
