Black with a tan head. Big coffee notes, dry roasted bits, day old coffee, earthy. Has a touch of sweetness. Medium bodied. Finish is dry. I would ratchet the coffee down just a notch but otherwise it’s quite nice.

[Cask at the Nags Head, Reading.] A slightly hazy golden amber pour with a tight cream coloured head leaving attractive lacing on the glass; malty aroma with a trace of hedgerow hops; sweet malty taste; then a drier malty finish with a little bitterness. A simple straightforward bitter.

My earliest crush was a girl called Cheryl Asbury. I think I was about 5! Clear golden session stuff, nicely hopped but not much more beyond everything said.

Bespin is the planet that Cloud City hovers in the atmosphere of in Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back. Golden, hoppy, but it is its notable bitterness, and quite an appealing one that is distinctive here.
