Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, March 2022. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of floral hops and sweetish tangerines. Flavour had more citrus fruits, ripe but light grains, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 1 - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly dry pale grains are present, some mild citrusy hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simple finish, vague hops and grainy pale malts. So so.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thank you very much!]. Cloudy, redd-ish brown colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Weak, (citrusy) fruity hoppy aroma, hints of grapefruit and blood orange, minimally leafy overtones, rather neutral, caramel malty background. Taste is bitter and minimally citrusy fruity, hoppy, almost neutral caramel malty basis with a weak nutty touch, diluted hints of grapefruit and blood orange. Watery texture, relatively lively carbonated. So-so.

25/1/2020. Bottle from one of my trips west last year, but didn't note where I got it. Poured clear pale gold with an orange tint and a large frothy white head. Aroma of spicy hops, malt, citrus, tropical fruit, touch of pine, biscuit and herbs. Moderate sweetness, bitterness was quite low though came through a little more in finish. Medium body, oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Exceeded my expectations this one. Great food pairing beer.
