Bottle from Doddington farm shop, Lincoln. Black colour with a tan head. Roasted malt and fruity aroma taste that follows. Nice porter.

Great beer from Real Ale store. Newark. Deep golden colour with a white head. Fruity very deep with a long bitter finish. Nice one.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 11/12/2015. Golden in colour, with a medium sized white head. Grainy malts, some tangerine fruits, hint of yeastiness and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask, half pint at Crosse Keys (JDW), shared with Finn. Bubbly, off-white head. Clear golden-brown body. Modest aroma of fruit caramel. Restrained flavour of caramel and leafy hops. Bittersweet endnotes. Okay, rather tasteless though (London 30.11.2015).

Aroma of slight minerals, almost nothing
Taste of pale malts, soft bitter hops, light minerals, rather non deScript
Palate - Medium light body, soft bitter, quite refreshing. Finish is a bit dry, soft bitter.
Overall - Forgettable Spoons fare.

Half pint, cask, served in a mug at Wm Hawkes. Yeah, it has got a dark ruby coloured body. Filmy layer, fair lacing. Brown malty smell, nutty. Brown malty flavours joined by moments of dried fruits. Malt bitterness to the ending. Satisfying (shared with Finn, Hull 26.11.2015).
