Loxley Brewery
Brewpub
in Loxley,
South Yorkshire,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Wisewood Inn
Established in 2018
With the pub fully established in 2017, he turned the burning idea of brewing beer onsite into a reality, rebuilding the old garage space underneath the pub with a fully equipped, modern brewery capable of brewing traditional cask beers and bottle conditioned ales. We’ll also be expanding to produce clean crisp lagers, and contemporary craft beers in due course.
With an onsite bottling plant and two pubs under our belt, our beers have grown into firm favourites with people in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
Our beers are available in bottles through our online shop and are available to try on draught from both of our pubs – the Wisewood Inn and the Raven Inn – as well as other local free houses in the local area.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazy straw colour. Slim messy lasting semi lacing white foam. Nose has pale dry malts. Peach skin. Some citrus. Some grassy notes. Taste is light bitter and light dry. Easy going on the palate with fine brisk carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Solid enough. Good bright bitterness.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed deep orange verging on copper colour. Slim dense sticky white foam. Nose has marmalade on buttered toast all day. Taste is fairly sweet with some decent bitterness. Plenty of body here. Good bitter finish. No idea why this is on here as a session ipa btw. Solid old school style tasty and bitter pow wow.
