Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, earthy, citrus notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, fruity, pale malt. Handpull cask at the White Swan, Chesterfield. Light brown, translucent. Little whitish head which generates a fair amount of lacing. Harsh, almost smoky malt on the aroma. Taste is shot through with sweet malt leading to a clever bitter finish. A massively aggressive malt bomb, and to be fair an impressive one, but lacking balance and, to be honest, a lot of individual character.
