Cask at Chesterfield Rail Ale Jolly with RB crew; clear dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has chocolate and dark fruit, taste has cocoa, dark fruits, pretty pleasant.

Tried at the Three HorseShoes. Waddington. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruity grapefruit and peach. Taste light sweet to a slight bitter finish.

Handpull cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Light gold with a nice little white head. The natural carbonation is strong with this one. Light aroma of grapefruit and grainy malts... ho hum. The initial taste is incredible: sweet with bittering hops battering the edges. Unfortunately the end of the sip is quite bland and somewhat astringent, so taste balances out to a respectable but by no means world-beating 7. Medium to long bitter finish. There’s a moment when this beer is damn near perfect. I just wish that moment was longer.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - close to opaque black but with a touch of orange chinks. Nose - burnt toffee and molasses. Taste - molasses and toffee. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent mild.

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, caramel, apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]

Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, tropical fruit, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
