25/7/2024. Tap at the 34th Ipswich Beer & Cider Festival. Pours hazy/cloudy orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, soapy, citrus, yeast, stone fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Tasted nice, aroma was too soapy.

25/7/2024. Tap at the 34th Ipswich Beer & Cider Festival. Pours close to black with a large frothy beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, biscuit, Terry’s chocolate orange, nut, dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Smooth with average to soft carbonation. Very nice, one of the top beers at the festival.

440ml can. Pours a hazed gold, thin white head. Gentle strawberry aroma. Flavour profile has a nicely integrated strawberry presence, though coming across like a pale ale at times, rather than a gose. Subtle lactic finish, gose-like dry finish. Perhaps akin to a traditional German gose than the modern variants. Decent.

Can from Beer Hatch, Norwich. Opaque pale yellow with a white head. Pineapple and lemon with hints of grass, peach and just a touch of onion. Light, fresh and refreshing, albeit not that memorable. Very sessionable though, and went down a treat with my homemade lime and coconut Pacific fusion curry!

440ml can. Pours a glowing orange, good frothy pure white head. Good whiff of exotic stonefruit. Excellent crisp hoppy bite with brilliantly balanced exotic fruit, light clementine, pineapple and grapefruit notes. Polite bitterness rounding things off. Really good IPA.

440ml can. Pours a glowing golden orange, rocky white head. Great fruity hoppy tropical pineapple grapefruit aroma. Continues nicely to taste. Crisp hop bite, solid bitterness. Nicely fruity. Prominent pineapple with passionfruit and clementine notes. Nicely presented IPA with sunburst New England moments.
