Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Dark brown and translucent with a tight off-white/beige head. The hazelnut character dominates the aroma, a little bit of chocolate and some liquorice. Taste is sweet, sweet, sweet. Waaaay too damn sweet but otherwise nice enough with loads of Nutella and liquorice. Body is incredibly thin, with a touch of carbonation. Needs more balance and I can't detect the Bramblings Cross.

28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of orange, stone fruits, citrus, mango, straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily, soft carbonation. Nicely done GF beer.

Cask at House of Hop, Darlington. Gluten Free. Clear golden colour, white foam head and aroma of citrus, hops. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, citrusy with earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and clear with a thin white head and a fair bit of lacing. Grassy aroma, some hay, light lemon zest. Bittersweet taste with suggestions of lemon curd followed by medicinal overtones. Finishes quite bitter and surprisingly dry. Reasonably decent.
