Tap at the brewery. Hayish nose. Clear Amber, off-white cream. Bready, grainy light toasted base, light minerallic and earthy herbal notes, malty chewy, basil retronasal, very decent well balanced brew.

12oz bottle purchased at the brewery. No date. Pours with a glowing caramel orange color. This is a sweet, malty, caramel beer with fruity yeast accents. The hops are there but a bit second fiddle to the malts, moderate bitterness. None of this is "bad" but absolutely not what I want in a beer, particularly an IPA. They could have called this an amber or red and it would still work.

Dried leaves nose. Clear amber, thin head. Dried leaves. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very little hop presence. More like an amber.
