Description
The original Ashover Brewery was founded in 2007 and over the years has won numerous industry-wide awards for their beers. Unfortunately, due to several factors the brewery then slipped into liquidation in early 2025.

However, a group of locals believed this was a great loss to the area and decided to do something about it and Ashover Brew Co. was born...

Our vision is to create beers that are as unique and varied as the people who enjoy them. We want to create beers that are approachable yet complex, with something for every palate. But at the same time, we want to stay true to our local roots - everything we do is inspired by the area’s rich brewing history and the stunning Peak District that surrounds us.

NWAF 24 Jan 13. Lys gylden. Nesten ikke skum. God sitrusaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er kun sitrus. Blir litt tørr etter hvert.

Bottle via Beer Moth. It pours cloudy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is earthy, light spice, smooth sourness, lemony, Granny Smith apple and the like. The taste is dough, crisp tartness, earthy, tart lemon, citrus rind, light soap, tangy apple, barnyard and spice with a dry, lightly tart finish. Light body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Crisp, tart and very drinkable stuff. Rather nice.

Gravity at Steel City Beer Festival 2013, Sheffield - A bit of a cloudy yellow body, good foamy top, with a wheaty nose of cereal and grass. The taste is also a bit on the grassy side, with a little bit of banana at the back. Quite nice really.

Gravity at Steel City Beer Festival 2013, Sheffield - Clear golden body, thin wispy head, with a nice hit of lemons and limes in the nose. Taste is a good hoppy mix of citrus fruits and tropical notes, a little thin, but a good tasty one to start the evening.
