From a 330ml bottle on 19/10/2015. Pours a clear light golden with a very small head. Features a pleasant light aroma of passionfruit and melon. The flavour follows suit, with a modest amount of passionfruit, melon and peach, against a sweet bready malt background, followed by some gentle hops. Light bodied, with average carbonation. A reasonable if unexciting summer quaffer.

Orange-golden color with white head. Aroma is cat piss, caramel malts. Taste is also cat piss and caramel malts, but also some "cork" feeling. Fine-bubbled carbonation. Interesting, but I don’t know how much of this corkiness is wanted.

Bottle, 8C. Gold with a white head. Aroma of peach, mango, grass, wheat crackers. Moderately sweet with peach, mango and grapefruit. Clean and a bit empty in the middle, no tanginess from the wheat. Could have done with a bit more bitterness or been drier at the end for me - it’s been a hot day and I should fancy another of these but don’t. Nice hoppy aroma though.

On tap at Buckley’s, Circular Quay, Sydney on 11th September 2015. Hazy amber with off-white part-lacing foam. Light, fresh citrus fruity hoppiness in aroma. Strong hoppiness in-mouth; grassy with light grapefruit citrus. A short citric finish. Medium-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to Aaron! Pours deep black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is dry and roasty, hints of lactose, anise and cocoa. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, quite roasty but not acidic. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Quite tasty.

330ml bottle into shaker. Milk chocolate aroma. This beer is totally opaque, no light can escape. Good solid tan head. Full bodied, flat mouthfeel. Liquorice is instantly noticeable then a long long finish of dark chocolate, cocoa and a touch of fruity hoppy bitterness. Just a hint of warming alcohol is present. Great beer.

(Bottle) Very dark with small tan head. Nice aroma - coffee and chocolate with liquorice and spice hints. Fantastic palate - full bodied, but not sticky, with smooth and bright carbonation. Great taste - rich and smooth, dark malts but little sweetness, nice hop bitterness for balance, some toasty notes. Excellent beer - too hard to put down, which could be dangerous for 7.4%

A copper beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has toffeeish maltyness with bready notes, lemony and wooden hoppyness. Surprisingly fresh. Taste has caramel and some fruits, also lemon, mild bitterness. Also taste is fresh. Light bodied, but not watery, slightly short end. Actually, quite good beer with nice freshness even the habitus is different.

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma is fresh, citrusfruity and slightly tropical, mild biscuity maltyness and sweetness. Taste has citrusfruits, biscuits, some bitterness. Unfortunately, slightly harsh end. Almost medium bodied, nice and smooth to drink. Positive surprise, good beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 19/7/2015. Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Has a modest malty aroma featuring a bit of dark chocolate. Flavour wise, there’s more dark chocolate, with hints of roasted malt, vanilla and a fair dash of soy. Quite full bodied, slightly creamy, with soft carbonation and a moderate bitterness. This is a decent stout, but I’m surprised at the love it’s receiving on here so far, as it seems a bit uninspired. A long way from a 90s beer for mine.
