Bottle thanks to Kaitlin. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combo of light sweet grain and grass with a hint of resin. Flavor starts light sweet grains with backing light pine and grassy hops.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy orange amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is of hops with grapefruit notes. The flavour is bitter, malty and hoppy, but not as hoppy as expected. It’s certainly a very drinkable and refreshing beer, but not as flavourful as many other pale ales I’ve tasted.

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strong airy head. The aroma is lightly dry with a yeasty hopness, and the flavour is dry and yeasty with lager like bitterness. Overall a reasonable but fairly average pilsner beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper with a lasting head.Nose shows sweet bready melanoidin malt, caramel, toffee. Pretty tempting! The smoke is faint though.Similar flavours. Big sweet toasty and bready melanoidin notes. Some smoke comes through too.Could use more carbonation.

Nice pun. Bottle, 9C. Clear amber with an off white head that fades to the rim but lasts. Aroma has caramel, some nuts and grass. Layers of toasted malt, firm balancing bitterness. I like that there’s depth in the malt flavours without great sweetness. Finish is dry and a little bitter with some pepper and just a touch of smoke. Very solid bock.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a small, white foam head. Crackery pale malt nose, some straw, ripening orange. Light to medium sweet flavor, some bready pale malts, bit more straw, some orange, faint honey. Light to medium bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Very mellow pine and straw finish, some semi-sweet bread, some more lightly toasted straw. Very, very drinkable stuff. Not overly bitter, and well balanced.

568 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of malt and light citrus hops. Similar taste with a bit of honey and some pronounced bitterness to finish. As with several others, a nice beer but not a great beer.

Bardzo dobre miedziane Ale z Australii. Kolor intensywny, piana mocna i zbita, Aromaty karmelowe i sporo nut kwiatowych w zapachu. W smaku chmiel goryczkowy wysuwa się na pierwszeństwo. Zaskoczyło mnie bardzo pozytywnie to bursztynowe piwo
