Can, from the brewery. Pours murky dark brown with faint red highlights against the light, large foamy beige head, sweet roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, sweet roasted malt taste with bitterness seeping in later, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very good.

Can from the source. Fairly clear light gold in color with a thin white head that dissipates. Sweet bready malt with earthy spice on the nose. Flavor is sweet bread with light plastic and astringency. Meh.

Can from the source enjoyed at home. Pours a slightly hazy deep amber/ copper color with a thin off white head that dissipates. Bready caramel and toffee when I was expecting dark toasted bread and a dark brown color. Decent beer but not a dunkel.

Can from the source. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a thin frothy white head that persists. Bready lightly toasty maltiness. Fruity juicy resinous citrus and earth for the hop aroma and flavor. Light astringency. Not too bad.

Can from the source drank in a dark hotel room. Pours a slightly hazy deep straw color with a thin bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Crackery pilsner maltiness with light green apple and light floral hops. Not too bad.

On tap at the source. Brilliantly clear deep golden in color with a frothy white head with great retention. Thin body somewhat tart and lacking the yeasty fruit and spice normally in this style.
