Brewery draught, 8/9/23. Clear, brass-golden. Small, white head. Heavy bread, rich malt, light smoke. Smokey, light, malty, needs more carbonation but is clean and well-structured. Rich, rich malt, bit of snappy lager yeast and subtle smoke on the finish.

Brewery draught, 8/9/23. Clear dark chestnut. Dark beige head slowly to ring. Brown sugar, vanilla, cherry. Less so smoke...bourbon spice, pepper. Very deep, caramel-forward malts. Wowzer. Bourbon strips the body right out. Overdried, coconut-heavy, intense spice. Doesn't burn, not sharp but there's so very little beer and zero malt depth/texture.

Brewery draught, 8/9/23. Cloudy, pale golden. White head sits at cover. Bit of Brett in the nose, juicy coriander, punch of bubble gum, moderate clove. Brett seems to have developed quite strongly. Big Brett, spicy coriander, chewy wheat but a bit thinner out by Brett. Still, a cool idea and still better than most witbiers even if the Brett has run a bit rampant here. Coriander is fresh and spicy still.

Brewery draught, 8/9/23. Clear, peachy-blonde. White head quick to ring. Malty, lightly spicy, clean, good mineral. Maybe a touch heavy handed on the malt? Nope, it's malty but balanced with white grape, herb and pepper. Great malt depth. Could be a shade crisper, but I'll take this all day over a thin, watery, under malted version. Clean, great minerality. Good balance.

16 oz. can from the brewery. Aroma has white grape, Honey-like grain and bubblegum. White grape and bubble gum are most dominant in the flavor. Alcohol is not really noticed until you get many ounces in. And that’s just because it warms up. Respectable.
