Schooner on tap at Welder's Dog, Armidale. Cloudy amber beer with a foamy white head. Floral nose, lavender, Musk Sticks, a little fruit and malt in the background. Excellent! Light body, super easy to drink. Refreshingly bitter finish with lingering notes of lemon and cashews. Probably the best mid-strength beer in the world.......ever!

Bottle thanks to Deanso. Fairly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, green weeds and citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Black with a tan head that fades fairly fast. Aroma is roasty with mocha, blackberries, oak, (a little) whisky, pine, tar. Far from heavy and very silky texture but quite a bit of overt alcohol. Lots of chocolate but less fudgy than suggested by the aroma. Not all that sweet with a firmly bitter and oaky finish. Right up to (but not over) my limit on the oak. A lot to like here but the unintegrated alcohol detracts a little.

Aroma is sweet rotting vegetables, chewy candy hops mixed in. Has good clear gold body and okay foam on top. Tastes of sweet hops with white wine hints. Mouthfeel is full and has good oiliness. This is a nice iipa, alcohol is well hidden and flavours are strong but not overbearing.
