On tap @ Overtime, Kuala Lumpur. A bit hazy golden body with a decent white head. Aroma is malty and a bit grassy. Flavor is refreshing with light malt, fruit, and slightly yeasty with moderate bitterness. Quite straightforward, nothing really special, but considering being the first brewpub/microbrewery in Malaysia they have to start somewhere and this beer is tastier than the Malaysian macro stuff, even if that does not say much about the quality.

Big bottle (maybe 650ml). Pale golden body with a diminishing white head. Aroma is weak grainy with a hint of fresh apple. Flavor is light, refreshing, grain, fruity with a hint of bitterness. Easy to drink easy to forget.

Yellow with some haze. Fresh with apple notes and a light but slightly cheesy noble hop aroma. Clean, lightly fruity and definitely more hop than most local lagers.

Draught @ Overtime. This beer comes in wooden barrels, which is quite something. Hazy beige colour. Doughy kit beer aroma. Fairly doughy taste, sweetish up front and slightly tart towards the finish. Ok stuff, basic kit beer like you’d find in Vietnamese or most Chinese brewpubs. I wonder if the beer isn’t a bit green - but regardless it’s good to see Malaysia take these tentative steps.
