(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marylebone, London, 8 Aug 2009) Golden colour with creamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with mild notes of bread, citrus and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, grapefruit and apricots. Solid malt foundation to balance the generous doses of earthy hops in a bitter finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Well made and tasty beer.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, grassy nose with biscuity malt and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus, biscuits and a dry, grassy bitterness in the finish. Light body. Not really exciting, but the grassy, dry bitterness makes it quite enjoyable.

Half pint, cask at The Carpenters Arms in Marble Arch. Served with a tiny, white head and a partial clear, copper coloued body. Malt-fruity to the nose. Caramel malts offset by hints of citrus fruits. Fine bitter ending. Decent brew (London, 03.08.2009).
