Cask, gravity at Harbury Beer Festival, Harbury, Warwickshire, 03.09.11 Pours warm old actually it’s almost Irn Bru in colour with a smattering of white bubbles. The bitterness is quite subdued but ok, on reflection it’s possibly too subtle in too many areas, it’s a good beer but more hops and bitterness (not a silly amount) would make it even better. Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 3/08/2011. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Citrus fruit, sweetish malts and leafy hop aroma. Flavour had plenty more fruit, a touch of biscuity malts an dryish finish. Good.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, bitter, citrus fruit and some tropical fruit in there. Not bad.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co. grand opening. Pours clear gold with a white, foam head. Grain malts in the nose, some citrus and grass. Sweet flavor, toast, grassy bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Fairly bitter finish, nicely sweet though, more toast and grass. Solid.

Cask gravity at K&ES Railway BF 2011. Golden beer with lasting head. Strong aroma of hops. Hops hops hops. I did not think they were well integrated into the beer kind of floating like a hop tea over the beer but this was pretty solid overall. Even a little manure on the aroma. Rather amazing for a run of the mil beer fest.

Half, cask, served at a perfect drinking temperature at Cask Pub & Kitchen Pimlico. Bare naked surface, near-clear golden body. Predominant fruit hoppy in aroma. Fresh taste of passion fruits, grapefruit shells and malty sweetness. Dry bitter end. Medium bodied. Truly thirst quenching (London, 22.03.2011).

Clear deep golden color, small creamy steady off-white head. Sticky, a bit berryish hoppy nose. Light to medium bodied. Cheesy-hoppy flavor with taste of fresh wood. Hayish hoppyness. Short finish. A bit odd and IPA only by English definition :)

Cask at CPK. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Straw and crackers on the nose, some grassy hops. Lightly sweet, bit of toasty bread and crisp, light earth and hay bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation. Nice, dry hop finish with hints of lemon. Very nice.
