440ml can from the brewery. Poured almost black in colour with a big, short-lived, fizzy, light tan head. The aroma is floral, aromatic hops, light alcohol. The flavour is light sweet, with a somewhat light, watery, liqourice, dry, woody, oaky, boozy, floral, light dry ashtray palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not particularly refined. In fact it was all over the place. Tasted like a bad home brew.

440ml can from the brewery, drunk on my balcony in Langkawi. The beer that is, not me! Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, malt, light citrus, melon, herbal, light floral, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Refreshing in the Malaysian heat, but not as fruity as I expected.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, sweet chocolate, light liqourice, super light lactose, light floral, earthy, nutty, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. The Irish Cream had left the building. It was completely undetectable.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a short lived frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, sweet chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a sweet chocolate, slightly watery, fake sugar, aromatic, chemical, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little light and the beer had a fake streak all the way through.

Can, huge bubbly head, cloudy dark orange to brown colour, vinous aroma, some of woodiness, flavor vanila, nuttines, almond, dried fruits, candy, a bit of alcoholic bitterness showing medium sweetness. Nice and interesting, a bit too heavy.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Dark brown and opaque with a loose ring of khaki head. Fruity and herbal aroma: chocolate, some stone fruit, some cress and little bit of brandy. Taste is a little bit more coherent with a sweet taste and and rummy and liquorice character. Bitterness in the finish. Thick oily body with almost no carbonation. Not sure about this one. Not their best beer and I want better from 9%.
