Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Gusher. Black with a thin tan head. Aromas of tar, leather, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is prunes, leather, tar, dark chocolate. Long finish. Nice.

Bottle from Vine and Grain. Appearance - lively on opening. Beige to tan head. Nose - creamy chocolate, ashy and a little meaty. Taste - savoury and burnt chocolate. Smoky finish. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Malty/smoky finish. Overall - nice.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Lively! Pours just-clear red brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of fruity black malt, liquorice, earthy. Taste has light coffee, stewed prunes, charcoal. Ashy finish.

Bottle from Vine and Grain. Appearance - hazy golden orange. Thin lacing. Nose - orange and bread. Taste - more orange and bread. Palate - light bodied, dry finish. Overall - simple but decent.

Bottle from Vine and Grain. Appearance - opaque black with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - malt loaf, light smoke and molasses. Taste - molasses, malt loaf, black jack sweets and a touch of smoke. Palate - medium to full bodied. Dey, malty finish. Overall - very nice.
