Many thanks to Beersiveknown for this bottle. Bitter mild body. Grain, dry, fresh hops, neutral bitterness. Quite watery, neutral bitter aftertaste with hints of grain.

many thanks to Beersiveknown for this bottle. Great floral nose. The beer starts very floral and fresh. Intense hoppy with lots of floral piney hops. Grapefruit, lime. Nice extreme bitterness that fits in great. The aftertaste is floral-piney and extreme bitter-dry. Absolutely great.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Hazy pale amber with a ring of cream head; rich resinous hop aroma with sime citrus; soft grainy body with a powerful hoppy taste, giving lots of grapefruit bitterness; and a dry creamy finish. Pungently hopped but very drinkable.

Bottle from my (still) Secret Santa! Nice fresh floral nose. The beer starts very neutral bitter with a nice fresh subtle layer of floral hops. But the neutral bitterness is way too much in the foreground. The body is nice mild with not too much grain or sweetness. Easy to drink with an intense bitter aftertaste.

Cask at the Vanbrugh Tavern Beer Festival, Greenwich, my birthday bash, 2015. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Citrus, moss and vanilla aroma. Citrus burst in the flavour with a modicum of peach sliding through. Nice bitter edge. Good.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at London Beer Lab. Opens with a hiss. Pours clear gold, actively effervescent, with a dense, frothy white head. Thereโ€™s a fair bit of grass in the aroma, along with dried grains and orange rind. Light sweet flavor, dominated by grassy bitterness, toasted hay, straw, some bitter grain husk, subtle pale malt sugars. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with further prominent grassy bitterness, faint hop oils, more rindy citrus, some grapefruit pith, grain, straw. Pretty good stuff overall.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the London Beer Lab. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. And itโ€™s effervescent. Pretty nice aroma, with lots of minerals, pithy lemon, dried pale malts. Light sweet flavor with somewhat oppressive minerality, hints of dry smoke and chlorine, crispy hay, lemon rind. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Dry on the finish with some grassy hops, more minerals, dry straw, biscuits, touches of melon and tangerine. Overall itโ€™s pretty decent - just a few rough edges here and there.
