A bright, golden beer with a medium, long-lasting and white head. Aroma malts, some grass, butter. Taste of rich malts, bitterness that is slightly herbal. The aftertaste is quite long, malt and quite dry. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Rich of malts, enough of bitterness, traditional and tastefull Bohemian Pilsner.

Sturdy enough pilsener with a light aroma for this style. it also has a light texture making it easy to drink.

Canned, 0.5l. Clear golden color with large frothy white head and soft carbonation. Aroma of malt, bread, yeast, grassy hops and citrus. Taste starts with rich crystal malt, followed refreshingly sour, crisp and dry with long hoppy aftertaste. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not much expected, but was positively surprised...

500ml bottle at 5.2%. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is grassy hops with a little bread. Taste is mostly carbonated water with some grassy hops on the finish. A little egg, also.

Bottle from Alko in Pello, July 2012. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of malt, grain, grass and some bread. Not that bitter but with quite a lot of carbonation. An ok beer.

Green 500ml bottle (5.2% ABV here in the UK): best before 28 June 2013 and pored into ’Budweiser Budvar’ badged stemmed vase shaped glass on 18 July 2012. Done some hard labour today and this evening: need a refreshing pint, this live review is hopefully going to slate my thirst. Looks fine: golden, clear body with ahuge white head of bubbles on top. All down hill from now though: metallic and sugared almonds in the nose (without any almond smell). Weak, watery and hop hints: a sweet false flavour from malt extract? doesn’t help the overall feel, this isn’t a good beer. A lawnmower beer: glad I paid very little for it in a local cut-price supermarket (B&M). Most likely the worst Czech brewed beer I’ve ever had.

(Draught at Kaisla, 4.9 % version, 20120616) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain and butter. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, butter, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweetish, a bit tart and bitter. Nice easily drinkable pils and also easy to forget.
