Bottled (BB 07/2008)
Pale golden color, decent white head, lace. Aroma is cardboardish with skunky low alco type odours. Fizzy, very tasteless. Very weak malts and skunky hops. Quite similar to some Swedish 3.5 % crap beers.

At Ogi’s place. Guess that the Danes got this, either rare or new cheap Czech beer as well seeing that Papsoe added it. Still, I’m the first to rate it. Ok golden-yellow body with a medium sized thick white head. Burnt grain in the nose, corn? Empty taste, crappy metallic, somewhat herbal hops. Biting. Weak watery grainy malt. Some soap. Traditional Czech beer my ass.

Canned (3.5% version, bought in Czech Rep, but label is also in Swedish and Hungarian). Pale golden, fairly brief head. Pleasant buttery hay aroma. Dry and light bodied. Saaz hops are evident, but water seaps through. Lightly metallic finish with low bitterness.

bottle, labelled Vanocni Serak. Deep golden yellow, nearly amber, persistent large white creamy head. Fruity and perfumy hoppy nose. Perfumy hops dominate, solid malty base which results in a bitter-sweet character. Well-balanced and lovelly hoppy beer. I would have guessed the hops are Tettnang hops combinet with Saaz, but I’m not sure. I thought this one was really marvellous.

A golden lager with a thin white head. Aroma of fresh malts and nice hopping. In mouth, a very mineral lager with light sweet malt notes, and metallic hops. Not bad. 4600 COP at Carrefour, Bogota.
