Skipton Beer Festival 2016. Black in colour. Has a fuller flavour despite a fairy easy-drinking texture with a good and slightly gritty roasted mlat in both aroma and taste.

[ As Fernandes Schnappy Blonde ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, citrus, peach. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, peach - citrus, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160219]

[ As Fernandes Black Voodoo ].Clear dark brown color with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark malt, orange, orange chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, orange, sweet malt, dark malt, light vanilla. Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with next to no head. Hopped ale with some fruit in its taste, but most found as a berry-sweetness in its nose.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured almost black with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is smoky malt, light cherry. The flavour is liqourice bitter with some light sour notes and a crisp dry, light cherry sour, light smoky malt palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
