Description
Proudly Brewed in Yorkshire since 1999
The award-winning Salamander beers was founded in 1999. Dr Daniel Gent (a doctor of brewing and one of Salamander's founders) mission was to bring high quality independently brewed beer to the masses. To this day Salamander continues to surprise and delight its many customers.
And we haven’t lost our touch for beer either.
Brewing ceased in early 2019 and restarted in late Summer 2021.

Cask @ City Arms, Manchester. Blonde with a bubbly head. It doesn’t have a great aroma that’s a bit farty with its smell, but it does have a fine tropical fruit taste.

Cask ale at Fighting Cock, shared with ManVsBeer. Creamy, fawn-coloured head, fair lacing. Near-black body. Mid-sweet dark dough on the nose. Dough and dark malty taste. Woody. Just alright, far from great (Bradford 08.07.2015).

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Mild dark chocolate malts, a little tangy. Traces of roast and coffee. Light dry finish brings bubblegum ester. Dry!
