Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 27/04/22. Clear golden with a white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is smoked malts, hay bale, toasted grains, light campfire, tea leaves. Taste comprises pale and smoked malts, biscuit, herb, grains, hedgerow, squeeze of lemon, cereals, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced smoking jacket. Solid smoked affair ... well balanced and crushable.

Thin off white head stayed on a nicely carbonated unclear amber coloured body. Sweet malt & bread aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back & clean dry aft. Malt, cereal, bready & chalky tastes with lightly hopped sweet jam finish. Nice.

500ml can bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Light Amber gold and clear with a soft and short-lived off-white head. Light grainy aroma, some honey, a little dab of glue resin. Sweet taste, Light resinous notes, with a gentle hop bitter and a slightly drying finish. Bitter fruits and more glue and grain notes in the aftertaste. Carbonation on the heavy side. Quite a nice Vienna

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, March 22. Deep blood red appearance, off white head. Lovely vibrant cherry nose. Great sweet / sour cherry combo, pleasant acetic edge, the mixed ferm elements providing a nice fuzzy sourness with a tart fruit bite. Really nice.

Monday 7th March 2022, monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Usual 5 suspects sharing beers and talking bollocks. Cheers Mark for the Cork and caged 0.75 litre bottle of this. Dark cherry red, wispy off-pink head. Sour cherries dominate for me, in the nose and taste. A proper 'sour puss'.
