Can at home, 28th January 2022. Pours a straw yellow orange, no carbonation, frothy white head. Aroma is smoked cheese, malts, ham. Taste is smoked malts, smoked cheese and bacon, smoked meats, really well made and authentic. Enjoyable smoked beer

Can from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma of sweet cigar smoke and smoked cheese. Flavour of sweet woody malt and ham. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The smoky influence is subtle and delicious. Great beer.

500ml can, online from Trembling Madness, Pours very dark brown towards black with a beige / tan head. Aroma: roast malts, coffee beans, chocolate. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate to heavy bitter, coffee beans dominate, roast malts, dark chocolate, burnt coffee Medium bodied with foamy carbonation. It was a bit too coffee dominant pour moi.

500ml can, online from the source. Pours almost clear yellow with a fluffy off-white cap. Aroma: malt, light smoke, smoked ham. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, crisp, smoked malt, smoked ham, a little citrus. Light to medium body with fluffy carbonation. Lovely stuff, great balance with the smokiness not overdone.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, nice biscuity pale malts, low bitterness, a little hay, faint yeast, lemon rind, light pithy grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean finish, more pale bread, biscuits, grapefruit, straw. Very drinkable stuff.

Can from HoTM. It lightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, ripe melon, white grape, greengage, straw, grass, cracker and floury bread. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, straw, peppery spice, green fruits, melon, greengage, sweet white grape, twist of lemon and gooseberry fool with a drying finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Nice Nelson Sauvy vibes.
