Draught, 7.1% at the brewpub. Distinct sweet liquorice aroma. Almost black colour, seems hazy. Small light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a bit of paper and a good salty liquorice note. A little fruit and bread in the finish, but quite clean anyway.

Draught, 6.2% at the brewpub. Sweet and caramelly malt note. Hazy light amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty and bready with a pleasant woody acid. Pleasant enough, and the name Gateway suits it, because it is quite mild.

Draught, 4.5% at the brewpub. Good fruity, lemony hop aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is clean and minerals with a good fruity note. Low bitterness. Slightly high carbonation, but ok creamy mouthfeel. Mild and pleasant.
