Can bought at Elusive. Aroma has sweet fruit and porridge, with a bitter streak and fried onions. Hazy light orange. Thick frothy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resinous. Stone fruit. Citrus. Develops a herbal streak. Hop burn. Towards the finale juicy sweet fruit is more prominent. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable enough but not the as juicy as promised.

Trip to Southampton postponed to go to a funeral. But good to find that Elusive have this on at their tap post-funeral. Aroma is spicy, with jammy fruit. Dark chestnut brown. Frothy foamy off-white head. Initial sour-edge bitter introduction. The is then swepped aside by tangy fruit. But the spicy rye is there throughout. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Fruity Red IPA.
