Labeled as a black IPA, 6.5% ABV. Roasty notes of coffee and unsweetened chocolate, backed up with cascara, grapefruit, orange pith, and pine, with a moderate pine bitterness on the finish. Pretty good.

1-1 HT 🔴🔵🦅⚽️🏆This new 8% version with Idaho 7/Mosaic/Cryo Simcoe and sans lactose delivering juicy notes of red grapefruit and tangerine, apricot and peach Stonefruit, touch of mosaic induced blueberry, soft sweet creamy malty backbone, robust hoppy finish. Very nice.

Draught @ Oh Craft!, Manhattan NYC (Apr 2026). Murky dark brown with no head, woodsy whiskey aroma, low carbonation, sweetish woodsy caramel taste with strong whiskey flavor, smooth body, long boozy finish. Quite boozy.

Aroma: vanilla, chopped chili peppers, cinnamon, milk chocolate, sweet woody/barrel; dark chocolate, caramel and some sweet wafer notes
Flavor: leads slightly into the sweet side of the prior noted aromas with a balancing spicy note of the chilis and cinnamon (wow, blended extremely nicely); finishes well balanced through spicy to sweet qualities
Texture: medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also a bit of stickiness on the tongue but even that seems super faint; good carb level
Overall: wow, I was not expecting this one to be as good as it was. It absolutely exceeded my expectations!
